I worked with APCO worldwide to develop the Mediasmart and Digital Adwise websites, which are used in schools across the UK to teach children about digital advertising. We worked together with Universal Music to create a Facebook app for up and coming band, Lawson. This allows their fans to get in touch with them, and get a peek of what its like backstage with their favourite band. The client’s project involved the implementation of an iPad application that streamed live video of animals from several zoos from around the world. The aim of this work was to provide UX deliverables to act as a starting point for the MVP iPad application, which would then be handed over to the client’s design team.
The aim of the project was to to build a Youtube Application to host the City Index Trading Academy competition, which contained videos of the competition as well as instructional videos on City Index’s services. I was both project and creative lead on the project.
I acted as project lead, working with SQW on a web-based monitoring tool as part of an evaluation they were conducting on behalf of the Department for Education in the UK. The specification for the tool included the creation of a secure platform to record the required data as well as remote web-based accessibility of the tool, to enable thirty local areas to access input and securely submit data.
I designed a Facebook Application for the makeup brand Code Beautiful as part of their Crack Code Beautiful campaign. The application was a simple word arranging game. I was invited to give a talk on user interface design at the University of Middlesex and the Kent Innovation Centre (University of Kent). The target audience was 1st year computer science students and Non-I.T. professionals. The aim was to give an introduction talk about website design, detailing what things to avoid when either designing a website or having a website designed for your company.
